If it's not and the temperatures are lower than room temperature, you may have a hard time getting optimal drying results.

The drying time may be abnormally long for the rubber compounds you use or they may remain in a liquid form permanently. You don't want these issues putting speedbumps in your custom rubber part manufacturing process because that's just added costs.
